Ingredients

  • 1 stick butter
  • Carnation milk

Instructions

  1. Mash the potatoes with butter and Carnation milk.
  2. Put the mashed potatoes in a 13 x 9 inch glass dish.
  3. Melt Old English cheese slowly with 1 stick of butter and enough Carnation milk to make a sauce consistency.
  4. Pour the cheese sauce over the mashed potatoes.
  5. Saute fresh mushrooms in butter until tender.
  6. Spread the cooked mushrooms over the potatoes and cheese sauce.
  7. Bake in a 325°F oven for about 25 minutes or until peaks turn brown.
