Ingredients

  • 3 cups sugar
  • 2 cups butter flavored Crisco
  • 3 cups cake flour
  • 10 eggs
  • 1/4 cup Pet milk
  • 1/2 tablespoon vanilla flavoring
  • 1/2 tablespoon almond flavoring

Instructions

  1. Mix sugar and Crisco until creamy.
  2. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  3. Add Pet milk and flavorings; beat well.
  4. Gradually add flour, a small amount at a time, mixing well.
  5. Pour batter into a greased and floured large tube pan.
  6. Place in a cold oven and set the temperature to 300°F (149°C).
  7. Bake for 1 hour and 40 minutes.
