Pretty Pineapple
A tropical treat that turns canned pineapple into a jiggly, sweet confection, perfect for summer parties or a quick dessert for adventurous eaters.

- Drain the syrup from the canned pineapple and leave the fruit in the can.
- Dissolve the Jell‑O powder in one cup of boiling water.
- Pour the melted Jell‑O into the can over the pineapple.
- Chill the can in the refrigerator for at least three hours until set.
- When ready to unmold, dip the can in hot water until the gelatin loosens.
- Run hot water over the bottom a few times, then cut the bottom off carefully, covering the top with a saucer or hand to catch the fruit.
- Slide or push the molded pineapple out of the can.
- Turn the piece on its side and slice into servings.
- Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to eat.
