Ingredients

  • 1 large cup crushed pineapple
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1/4 cup self‑rising flour
  • 1 large can pie cherries
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 6 bananas, sliced
  • 1 (3 oz.) orange Jell‑O gelatin
  • 1 small can coconut

Instructions

  1. Combine pineapple, sugar, and flour.
  2. Cook the mixture for 10 minutes, stirring constantly.
  3. Remove from heat.
  4. Dissolve the Jell‑O gelatin in 1/2 cup of boiling water and add to the pineapple mixture.
  5. Let the mixture cool.
  6. Add the cherries, pecans, bananas, and coconut to the cooled mixture.
  7. Fill baked pie shells with the mixture.
  8. Refrigerate to set for about 1 hour.
  9. Serve topped with Cool Whip.
