Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup flour, sifted
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted
  • 2 eggs, beaten

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F.
  2. Beat milk, flour, salt, and melted butter together in a bowl.
  3. Add beaten eggs and beat again until smooth.
  4. Pour batter into a greased muffin pan, filling each cup three-quarters full.
  5. Bake at 450°F for 15 minutes.
  6. Lower the oven temperature to 350°F and bake for an additional 20 minutes.
  7. Serve the popovers fresh from the oven while warm.
