- Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water in a large bowl.
- Pour boiling water over shortening (Crisco) and dissolve.
- Add sugar, salt, eggs, flour, and dissolved yeast; mix well.
- Refrigerate the dough overnight or until thoroughly chilled.
- Roll the dough out to 1/4-inch thickness and cut with a biscuit cutter.
- Dip each biscuit into melted butter and stand biscuits on their sides in two greased Bundt pans.
- Let the dough rise for 2 to 3 hours.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30 minutes.
- Serve by pulling apart and enjoying.
