Pumpkin Nut Tea Bread

Ingredients

  • 3 c. sugar
  • 1 c. vegetable oil
  • 2 c. pumpkin
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 tsp. ground cloves
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 3 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 1/2 c. chopped nuts

Instructions

  1. Add sugar and oil; mix well.
  2. Add pumpkin and eggs.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix all the dry ingredients.
  4. Combine the 2 mixtures.
  5. Add nuts.
  6. Pour into 2 ungreased loaf pans.
  7. Bake at 350° for about 1 hour.
  8. Eat one; freeze one.
