Mini pizza bites made from hamburger buns, topped with pizza sauce, mozzarella, and optional pepperoni—quick, kid‑friendly, and perfect for snack time or game day.

Ingredients

  • 2 hamburger buns (no seeds)
  • 4 Tbsp. pizza sauce
  • 1 package shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 package pepperoni (optional)

Instructions

  1. Split the hamburger buns into 4 halves.
  2. Place the 4 halves, flat side up, on a cookie sheet.
  3. Broil until the tops are lightly browned, about 2 to 3 minutes, watching carefully to avoid burning. Remove from oven.
  4. Spread 1 tablespoon of pizza sauce evenly on each half bun.
  5. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce as desired, and add pepperoni slices if using.
  6. Set the oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake the pizzas for 4 to 5 minutes, or until the cheese is lightly browned.
