Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup margarine softened
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 (16 oz) jar applesauce

Instructions

  1. Blend sugar and cinnamon together.
  2. Grease a 10-inch Bundt or tube pan and dust with 1 tablespoon of the sugar-cinnamon mixture, reserving the rest for the cake.
  3. In a mixing bowl, blend margarine, eggs, applesauce, and cake mix until moistened and smooth.
  4. Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan.
  5. Sprinkle the remaining sugar and cinnamon mixture over the batter in the pan.
  6. Add the remaining batter on top.
  7. Bake at 350°F for 35 to 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Cool in the pan for 15 minutes before removing and serving.
