Ingredients

  • 3 to 4 cups cherry pie filling
  • 1 package white cake mix
  • 2 cubes butter
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • vanilla ice cream

Instructions

  1. Empty cherry pie filling into an 11 x 15-inch baking dish.
  2. Sprinkle dry cake mix evenly over the cherries.
  3. Pour melted butter over the cake mix.
  4. Sprinkle chopped walnuts on top.
  5. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 1 hour.
  6. Cool for 30 minutes.
  7. Spoon vanilla ice cream on top before serving.
