Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 2 cups chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. In a large saucepan, combine the sugar, corn syrup, and peanut butter.
  2. Cook over medium heat until the sugar is dissolved.
  3. Remove from heat; add the Rice Krispies cereal and mix thoroughly.
  4. Spread the mixture into a greased 13 x 9-inch pan.
  5. Pour the chocolate chips over the top, spreading evenly.
  6. Put the pan under the broiler for a few minutes until the chocolate is melted and slightly bubbly.
  7. Spread the melted chocolate evenly over the cereal mixture.
  8. Allow to cool and set before cutting into bars.
