Tangy, crunchy dill pickles with garlic, perfect for snacking or adding to sandwiches. These quick refrigerator pickles are easy to make and full of fresh flavor.

Ingredients

  • 1 gal. water
  • 1 c. white vinegar
  • 1 c. kosher salt
  • 6 dill stalks
  • 3 to 4 cloves garlic
  • 14 small cucumbers

Instructions

  1. Bring water, white vinegar, and kosher salt to a rolling boil.
  2. Put dill stalks in the bottom of a crock.
  3. Put garlic cloves in the bottom of the crock.
  4. Place small cucumbers on top of the dill and garlic.
  5. Pour the boiling brine over the cucumbers, covering them completely.
  6. Place a plate over the cucumbers to hold them under the brine.
  7. Cover the crock with a towel and let sit for 3 to 4 days.
  8. Check if they look like pickles after 3 to 4 days.
  9. Transfer the pickles and brine into jars and cover.
  10. Store in the refrigerator.
