Ingredients

  • 2 cans chicken broth
  • 2 cans chicken breast
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 1/2 to 2 cups flour
  • 2 Tbsp Crisco

Instructions

  1. Bring the chicken broth to a boil in a large pot.
  2. Mix about 1/2 to 1 cup of the hot broth with the flour to form a paste.
  3. Add Crisco into the flour mixture and mix well.
  4. Stir the mixture into a soft ball.
  5. Place the dough on wax paper and roll out until stiff.
  6. Cut the dough into strips and squares.
  7. Drop the dough pieces into the boiling broth.
  8. Add the canned chicken and margarine to the broth.
  9. Let everything simmer on low heat until the liquid has a soupy texture.
