Ingredients

  • 12 lasagna noodles
  • 1 lb. hot Italian sausage
  • 26 oz. jar spaghetti sauce
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Cook the lasagna noodles according to package directions.
  2. In a soup pot, cook the Italian sausage on medium to high heat for about 8 to 10 minutes or until no longer pink, stirring to crumble.
  3. Drain the cooked sausage and add the cooked noodles, spaghetti sauce, ricotta cheese, shredded mozzarella cheese, dried basil, and black pepper. Mix well.
  4. Reduce heat to medium and cook for an additional 6 to 8 minutes or until heated through and the cheese is melted.
