- Dissolve yeast in 1/2 cup warm water and let stand for 5 minutes.
- Add remaining water, salt, and sugar; beat well.
- Add shortening and beat until combined.
- Add eggs and beat well.
- Add flour and mix until the dough becomes elastic.
- Put the dough in the refrigerator and let it double in size.
- Take out the dough and knead the desired amount.
- Return the remaining dough to the refrigerator.
- Let the dough rise until it has doubled in size.
- Bake at 450°F (230°C) until the rolls are brown.
