Ingredients

  • 3 cups apples
  • 2 cups chopped nuts
  • 1 1/2 cups oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 1/2 cups cake flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla flavor
  • 1 teaspoon lemon flavor

Instructions

  1. Cut apples and combine with chopped nuts. Set aside.
  2. Cream oil, eggs, and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add flour, baking soda, salt, baking powder, vanilla flavor, and lemon flavor to the creamed mixture.
  4. Add the apples and nuts to the batter and mix well with a spoon.
  5. Pour the batter into a tube pan and bake at 350°F for about 1 hour.
