Ingredients

  • 1 cup rice
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 to 1 cup raisins
  • dash of salt

Instructions

  1. Mix together the rice, water, milk, raisins, and a dash of salt in a pot.
  2. Bring the mixture to a boil.
  3. Reduce heat and simmer, covered, for about 15 to 20 minutes until the rice is tender and the pudding has thickened.
  4. Serve topped with brown sugar.
