- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Place pear halves, cut side up, in a 13 x 9-inch pan.
- Sprinkle the pears with lemon juice and then with brown sugar.
- Pour 3 tablespoons of melted butter evenly over the pear halves.
- Cover the pan and bake for 20 minutes or until the pears are just tender.
- Remove from oven and arrange the refrigerated buttermilk biscuits on top of the pears.
- Bake uncovered for an additional 15-20 minutes until the biscuits are golden brown.
