Ingredients

  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1 c. canned milk
  • 1 c. chopped nuts
  • 1 c. chopped dates
  • 1 c. coconut

Instructions

  1. Put sugars, butter and canned milk together.
  2. Boil to soft ball stage.
  3. Add nuts, dates and coconut to sauce; boil 5 more minutes. Beat a little with spoon until shiny.
  4. Put into greased cookie pan. Let set up and cool, then cut into squares.
