Ingredients

  • 1 round 10-inch angel food cake
  • 1 (3 oz.) package strawberry gelatin
  • 1 (3 oz.) package lime gelatin
  • 1 (3 oz.) package orange gelatin
  • 1 (10 oz.) package frozen sliced strawberries
  • 1 (10 oz.) package frozen blueberries

Instructions

  1. Tear the angel food cake into small pieces.
  2. Divide the cake into thirds and place each third in a separate medium-sized bowl.
  3. Sprinkle strawberry gelatin over one bowl of cake; lime gelatin over the second; orange gelatin over the third.
  4. Toss each lightly with a fork until the cake is well coated with gelatin.
  5. Place the strawberry-coated cake pieces in the bottom of a 10-inch tube pan.
  6. Spoon strawberries over the cake layer; spread one-third of the vanilla ice cream over the strawberries.
  7. Repeat layers with lime cake pieces, blueberries, and ice cream; then orange cake pieces, mandarin oranges, and ice cream.
  8. Freeze until firm, then unmold onto a chilled dessert plate.
