Ingredients

  • 1 cup whole-wheat macaroni
  • 2 cups canned red kidney beans (drained)
  • 2 cups cauliflower/broccoli (chopped)
  • 8 springs of green onions (chopped)
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp chilli powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup soft margarine
  • extra salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook macaroni as directed on package adding 1/4 tsp of salt. When pasta is almost cooked, stir in margarine, chilli powder and oregano. Mix in remaining ingredients,cover and cook for about 2 minutes. Turn off heat, serve immediatly.
