Ingredients

  • 4 (8 oz.) packages cream cheese
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 8 oz. sour cream
  • 1/2 pint whipping cream

Instructions

  1. Grease and flour a 10-inch spring-form pan.
  2. Cream together the cream cheese and eggs until smooth.
  3. Fold in lemon juice, vanilla, and sour cream.
  4. Add sugar and whipping cream, then beat until well combined.
  5. Bake the cheesecake for 20 minutes at 400°F.
  6. Reduce oven temperature to 275°F and bake for an additional 40 minutes.
  7. Turn off the oven and let the cake cool in the oven for at least 1 hour.
