  5. Freeze until firm.
  6. Mix the Cool Whip, confectioners sugar, and salt. Add the candied fruits, chopped nuts, and chopped almonds, then stir to combine.
  7. Pile the mixture into the center of the mold, smoothing the top.
  8. Cover the mold with foil and freeze until solid.
  9. Peel off the foil and invert the mold onto a serving plate. Serve cold.

Tips & Substitutions

To achieve a smooth texture, ensure that the raspberry sherbet is fully softened before spreading it in the mold. If you can't find pink peppermint ice cream, strawberry ice cream works as a great substitute. For a nut-free version, omit the chopped nuts and replace them with more candied fruits. Keep the Cool Whip mixture light by folding it gently to maintain its airiness.

Serving Suggestions

Serve the Raspberry Bombe on a chilled plate to enhance its refreshing qualities. It pairs beautifully with Easy Fresh Strawberry Pie for a delightful dessert spread. Consider adding a drizzle of chocolate sauce or fresh berries on top for extra flair. A scoop of vanilla ice cream alongside can also complement the flavors nicely.

Storage & Reheating

Leftover Raspberry Bombe can be stored in the freezer for up to two weeks. To keep it fresh, wrap it tightly in plastic wrap and then cover it with foil. When you're ready to serve, let it sit at room temperature for about 10-15 minutes to soften slightly before slicing.
