Ingredients

  • 1 2/3 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 2 2/3 cups coconut
  • 1 1/4 cups sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup red raspberry jam or preserves
  • 1/3 cup finely chopped walnuts
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate morsels
  • 1/4 cup chopped white baking bar

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter.
  2. Press evenly into the bottom of a 13 x 9-inch pan to form the crust.
  3. Sprinkle coconut evenly over the crust.
  4. Pour sweetened condensed milk over the coconut layer.
  5. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20 to 25 minutes or until lightly brown; then cool.
  6. Spread raspberry jam over the cooled coconut layer.
  7. Chill the bars for 3 to 4 hours.
  8. Sprinkle chopped walnuts over the jam layer.
  9. Drizzle melted semi-sweet chocolate and white baking bar over the top to create a lacy effect.
  10. Chill again before slicing into 24 bars.
