Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb beef
  • 1 1/2 lb pork
  • 1 1/2 lb veal
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 1/2 cup onion
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 1/2 cups Italian bread crumbs

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients except half and half, sauce, and jelly until well combined.
  2. Form the mixture into meatballs and place on a baking sheet.
  3. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for 25 to 30 minutes until cooked through.
  4. Remove the meatballs from the oven and transfer to a skillet.
  5. Add tomato sauce and jelly to the skillet with the meatballs.
  6. Simmer the mixture for 1 hour, stirring occasionally, until flavors meld and sauce thickens.
