Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 4 large pieces steak
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 4 thin slices mozzarella cheese
  • 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 1 package spaghetti sauce mix with mushrooms

Instructions

  1. Mix bread crumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, salt, and paprika in a bowl.
  2. Dip each steak piece into the beaten egg, then roll in the crumb mixture to coat evenly.
  3. Heat butter in a skillet and brown the coated steaks on both sides.
  4. Place a slice of mozzarella cheese over each steak piece.
  5. Pour the prepared spaghetti sauce mix, combined with the tomato sauce, over the steaks.
  6. If the sauce is too thick, add a little water to thin it out.
  7. Cover and simmer for about 45 minutes until cooked through and flavors meld.
