- Mix warm water, yeast, flour, sugar, oil, and salt together and knead into a dough.
- Let rise at room temperature for 1 1/2 hours or until doubled in size.
- After rising, roll out the dough to 8 x 15 inches on a floured surface.
- Spread cheese evenly over the rolled-out dough.
- Distribute chopped onion over the cheese layer.
- Sprinkle poppy seed over all the toppings.
- Roll the dough into a log from the long side, forming a jelly roll shape.
- Shape the rolled dough into a ring and place on a pizza pan.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
