Ingredients

  • 3 c. flour
  • 1 c. margarine
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 3 tsp. baking powder
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Instructions

  1. Mix flour, margarine, salt, sugar, and baking powder as for pie crust.
  2. In a small bowl, mix egg yolks, milk, and vanilla.
  3. Combine the dry ingredients with the egg yolk mixture and mix well.
  4. Make dough, divide, and chill for 1 hour.
  5. Take over half of the chilled dough, roll it between wax paper, and place on a cookie sheet.
  6. Spread raspberry pie filling or your preferred filling over the dough.
  7. Create a lattice work or a thin top crust over the filling.
  8. Bake until golden and bubbly.
  9. Cool completely, then ice if desired.
