Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups hot milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup rice

Instructions

  1. Clean the rice as for boiling in water.
  2. Cook the rice with hot milk and salt, adding seeded and sultana raisins if desired.
  3. Serve hot like boiled rice or press into small cups.
  4. Cool and serve with cream and sugar.
