Instructions
- Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a saucepan.
- Add the chopped onion and stir until golden brown.
- Add the rice and shake until the grains are coated with butter and onion.
- Pour in the hot chicken stock.
- Cover the pot and simmer until the liquid is absorbed, or bake in a 375°F oven until done.
- Add the remaining 2 tablespoons of melted butter to the cooked rice.
- Toss the rice with a fork to distribute the butter evenly.
