- Before bedtime, set oven at 175° to 200° F.
- Place meat, water, and chopped onions into the seasoning bag.
- Next morning, turn the oven off.
- Boil potatoes and carrots until almost done.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Put the meat and all its juices into an electric skillet.
- Add the boiled potatoes and carrots; simmer until they are cooked.
- Thicken the gravy with cornstarch or flour mixed with water.
- Serve with rice or mashed potatoes. Meat can be frozen for later use.
