Ingredients

  • 2 cups warm water
  • 2 packages dry yeast
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup Crisco
  • 4 cups self-rising flour

Instructions

  1. Mix the warm water and dry yeast well with a mixer.
  2. Add the egg, Crisco, and self-rising flour to the mixture.
  3. Mix well with the mixer until combined.
  4. Let the dough stand for 30 minutes.
  5. Spoon the dough into muffin pans.
  6. Bake at 450°F (232°C) for 10 minutes.
