Crispy, cheesy Rosti Potatoes boast golden-brown crusts with melted Swiss cheese, perfect for hearty breakfasts or side dishes that appeal to comfort food lovers.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs. potatoes
  • 8 oz. Swiss cheese
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • pinch of white pepper

Instructions

  1. Boil potatoes until tender and drain immediately.
  2. Cool and peel the potatoes.
  3. Shred the potatoes into a bowl.
  4. Shred Swiss cheese into the same bowl.
  5. Add salt and white pepper, then mix well.
  6. Heat butter in a cast iron skillet or non-stick pan.
  7. Fry the potato mixture in the hot pan until browned on one side.
  8. Turn the Rosti and cook until the other side is golden brown.
  9. Serve immediately.
