Ingredients

  • 12 slices bacon
  • 8 oz chicken livers
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 (8 oz) can water chestnuts

Instructions

  1. Cut bacon slices into thirds and chicken livers into 1-inch pieces. Mix garlic powder into soy sauce.
  2. Dip chicken livers in the soy sauce mixture. Place one water chestnut on each piece of liver and wrap with one bacon strip.
  3. Roll, secure with a wooden toothpick, and arrange 12 at a time in a circle on a microwave-safe plate lined with paper towels.
  4. Cover with a paper towel.
  5. Cook on High for 3 minutes or until bacon is cooked.
  6. Let stand for 1 minute before serving.
