Russian Meadavuka is a traditional fermented honey beverage with rich flavors of cranberry, spices, and sweetness, perfect for festive occasions and gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 kg honey
  • 1 1/2 liters cranberry juice
  • 3 grams spices

Instructions

  1. Add 1/2 liter of water to the honey, bring to a boil and skim.
  2. Pour the honey mixture into a flask or barrel, then add cranberry juice, cinnamon, cloves, and yeast.
  3. Set aside to ferment for two days.
  4. Cover the flask or barrel and store in a cool place for about three weeks.
  5. After fermentation, pour the beverage into bottles and seal.
