- Mix flour, baking powder, and baking soda in a bowl.
- Pour safflower oil and buttermilk into a measuring cup without stirring.
- Pour all at once into the flour mixture.
- Stir with a fork until the mixture cleans the sides of the bowl and rounds into a ball.
- Knead the dough about 10 times without adding extra flour to smooth it.
- Press out the dough to 1/4-inch thickness on waxed paper using hands or a rolling pin.
- Cut out biscuits with an unfloured biscuit cutter.
- Bake on an ungreased baking sheet for 10 to 12 minutes until golden.
