Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp. unflavored gelatin
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1 c. white vinegar
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. celery salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper

Instructions

  1. Dissolve gelatin in 1/2 cup water.
  2. Bring to a boil the white vinegar, sugar, and 1/4 cup water.
  3. Add the dissolved gelatin, salt, celery salt, and pepper to the boiling mixture.
  4. Cool the mixture and then add 1 cup salad oil.
  5. Store in refrigerator; shake dressing at times to keep it mixed until set.
  6. Keeps for months in refrigerator.
