Ingredients

  • 1 c. cornmeal
  • 1 c. cold water
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 3 c. boiling water

Instructions

  1. Mix together cornmeal and cold water.
  2. Add the cornmeal mixture to salt and boiling water.
  3. Stir in slowly over low heat.
  4. Cook and stir until thickened.
  5. Lower heat to very low; cover and cook about 15 minutes.
