Sandy's Bread Pudding offers a comforting blend of sweet bread, tropical fruit flavors, and warm cinnamon, perfect for family dessert or special gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 6 eggs
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 to 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 can milk or heavy cream
  • 1 can crushed pineapple with juice
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 can mandarin oranges

Instructions

  1. Fill a buttered 9 x 13-inch pan with dried bread pieces.
  2. Combine all other ingredients (eggs, orange juice, salt, sugar, cinnamon, milk or heavy cream, crushed pineapple with juice, mandarin oranges) and mix well.
  3. Pour the mixture over the bread crumbs and let stand for 15 minutes to absorb.
  4. Bake in a 350°F oven for 50 to 60 minutes until set and golden.
