Ingredients

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine
  • 2 (8 oz.) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 1/4 cups sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 pints sour cream

Instructions

  1. Melt butter and combine with graham cracker crumbs.
  2. Press the mixture into the bottom of a spring-form pan and set aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Stir in sugar and vanilla extract until well combined.
  6. Fold in sour cream until smooth.
  7. Pour the filling into the prepared crust.
  8. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for about 60 minutes, or until the center is set.
  9. Allow to cool, then refrigerate for several hours before serving.
