Cheesy sausage balls are savory, bite-sized appetizers with a crispy exterior and cheesy interior, perfect for parties, game days, or quick snacks for meat lovers.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups Bisquick
  • 10 to 12 oz Cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1 lb hot pork sausage

Instructions

  1. Let the sausage reach room temperature.
  2. Mix all ingredients with hands until thoroughly combined.
  3. Roll the mixture into bite-sized balls.
  4. Place the balls on a cookie sheet and freeze.
  5. Once frozen, transfer the sausage balls to plastic bags for storage.
  6. Keep in the freezer indefinitely.
  7. When ready to serve, remove from freezer and place on a cookie sheet.
  8. Bake in a 350°F (175°C) oven for about 15 to 20 minutes until golden brown.
