Ingredients

  • 1 large whole cauliflower
  • 1 1/2 sticks butter (6 oz.)
  • salt to taste
  • freshly ground black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Quickly cook cauliflower in boiling, salted water for 4 to 6 minutes.
  2. Drain well and slice very thin or chop coarse.
  3. Melt butter in a heavy skillet over very low heat.
  4. Add cauliflower and toss well until most of the butter has been absorbed.
  5. Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.
  6. Squeeze lemon juice over the cauliflower before serving.
