Sautéed salmon steaks with a buttery soy glaze and lemon, offering a flavorful, quick, and healthy seafood dish perfect for weeknights or special occasions.

Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 1 tsp. soy sauce
  • dash of garlic powder
  • 4 slices lemon
  • 1 Tbsp. oil
  • 2 (6 to 8 oz.) salmon steaks

Instructions

  1. Combine melted butter or margarine, soy sauce, and garlic powder to make the sauce mixture.
  2. Heat oil in a medium skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add salmon steaks to the skillet and baste with the butter mixture. Cook for about 5 minutes or until browned on one side.
  4. Turn the salmon steaks, baste again with the sauce, and place lemon slices on top of the steaks.
  5. Continue cooking until the salmon flakes easily when tested with a fork.
