Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground sausage
  • 1 lb. bacon
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1 cup chopped green peppers
  • 2 cups chopped tomatoes
  • 2 cups uncooked rice
  • 4 cups water

Instructions

  1. Fry bacon and sausage until cooked.
  2. Drain off excess drippings.
  3. Add chopped green peppers, onions, and tomatoes to the skillet.
  4. Cook for about three minutes.
  5. Add rice and water to the skillet.
  6. Cover and cook slowly for about 30 minutes or until rice is tender.
