Tips & Substitutions

For extra flavor, consider adding minced garlic or fresh herbs like parsley or dill to the meat mixture. If you don’t have white bread, any soft bread will work, or you can use breadcrumbs soaked in milk. To make a healthier version, substitute ground turkey for pork. Serve with a side of Collards for a complete meal.

Serving Suggestions

Serve the meatballs over mashed potatoes or egg noodles for a comforting meal. They pair well with a side of Potted Red Cabbage for a traditional Polish-inspired dinner. Additionally, a fresh salad can lighten up the dish, making it a well-rounded meal.

Storage & Reheating

Store leftover Polish Meat Balls in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, place them in a skillet over medium heat with a splash of water or broth to prevent drying out. Cover and heat until warmed through, or microwave in short intervals.
