Ingredients

  • 1 small head of cabbage
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp powdered mustard
  • 1 Tbsp flour
  • 3/4 cup cream
  • 4 or 5 strips bacon

Instructions

  1. Shred the small head of cabbage and place it in a shallow greased baking dish.
  2. In a small bowl, mix sugar, powdered mustard, and flour.
  3. Add cream to the dry mixture and stir well.
  4. Pour the cream mixture over the shredded cabbage in the baking dish.
  5. Top with 4 or 5 strips of bacon.
  6. Bake uncovered at 450°F until the cabbage is tender and bacon is crispy.
