Seashell Casserole

A hearty baked pasta casserole loaded with bacon, celery, onion, tomatoes, and melted cheese, perfect for comforting family dinners or casual gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. bacon
  • 2 stalks celery
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 (No. 303) can tomatoes
  • 1 lb. seashell pasta
  • 1 lb. Longhorn cheese

Instructions

  1. Cut bacon into small pieces and sauté with chopped celery and onion until bacon browns slightly.
  2. Drain grease from bacon. Add chopped tomatoes and simmer while pasta is boiling.
  3. Place half of the cooked seashell pasta, sauce, and chopped cheese in a buttered casserole dish.
  4. Add the remaining pasta and sauce, ending with the cheese on top.
  5. Bake at 350°F until edges are slightly brown.
