Ingredients

  • 2 cups leftover steak or roast, chipped
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 envelopes gravy mix
  • 1 can mushrooms, drained
  • 1 tablespoon butter or margarine

Instructions

  1. Brown the diced onion in butter.
  2. Add the drained mushrooms and chipped leftover steak to the pan.
  3. Sprinkle the gravy mix over the meat and vegetables, then add water.
  4. Stir the mixture well to combine everything.
  5. Bring to a boil, then reduce to the lowest heat.
  6. Simmer for about 20 to 30 minutes.
  7. Serve the gravy over rice.
