Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter or margarine
  • 4 cups shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • poppy seed
  • sesame seed

Instructions

  1. Ensure all ingredients are at room temperature for easier handling.
  2. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine shredded Cheddar cheese and softened butter until well blended.
  4. Gradually add all-purpose flour, mixing until a dough forms.
  5. Roll the dough into small rounds or logs, then cut into slices or shape as desired.
  6. Place the rounds on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Mix poppy seeds, sesame seeds, and paprika in a small bowl.
