Instructions
- Sift flour.
- Measure and resift with baking powder and salt. Add eggs to brown sugar, one at a time, beating in well.
- Add flour mixture gradually; mix thoroughly.
- Add vanilla and nuts. Pour into a greased and floured 9 x 12-inch pan.
- Bake at 300° for 35 to 45 minutes.
- Let cool.
- Cake will fall as it cools.
- Cut in squares.
- Top with whipped cream.
